With school holidays upon us, I usually work and divide the kids between friends and family with the odd day where I work from home.
We can get really caught up with the whole "what am I going to do with the kids" thing, but I now try and keep it really simple.
Recently we went Ten Pin bowling. Not expensive and loads of fun, plus a little bit of competition. Our local bowling alley has the funky music cranked up high with all kids of coo lighting. We only played one game but really should have done two. Just a hoot though and the bonus of new bowling shoes (BYO socks of course).
Keep things simple these holidays, these are the memories that the kids remember the most!
