Slow Cooker Shredded Beef Week - Nachos
Nachos - with my kids, is a winner.
And key ingredient in our Nachos is Shredded Beef.
And Shredded Beef goes perfectly in the Slow Cooker.
We are a large-sized-laid-out-on-an-oven-tray type of family, but my sister-in-law was aghast at this idea, they are much more the individual serve type of family. It really is just a matter of finding your own nachos vibe, and rolling with it.
So round these parts, we lay out a packet (or two!) of corn chips on a baking-paper-lined-oven tray, sprinkle with ample grated cheese and pop in a pre-heated oven to melt cheese and warm chips.
Once cheese is melted and bubbly, take out of oven. Spoon over ample amounts of Shredded Beef, add sliced lettuce, diced tomatoes, herbs, sour cream and guacamole.
Nachos is served by slicing (carving? hacking?) off portions and serving on a plate.
